Frequently asked questions
What does men’s health cover in urology?
It covers erectile dysfunction, male infertility, testosterone deficiency (hypogonadism), varicocele, testicular problems and prostate conditions.
Is erectile dysfunction linked to other diseases?
It can be. Erectile dysfunction is often linked to diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking and hormonal problems, so it deserves a medical assessment.
Can testosterone be used to treat male infertility?
No. Taking testosterone from outside can reduce sperm production, so it is not used to treat infertility and should not be taken without medical assessment.
